Angela is the CEO of VIA and a seasoned operator at the intersection of European innovation and U.S. market expansion. She began her career in Europe leading commercial strategy and brand execution for global consumer brands, building a strong foundation in international market development and route-to-market strategy. After relocating from Germany to the U.S. in 2016, Angela built and successfully exited her own CPG brand, gaining firsthand experience in navigating one of the most competitive consumer markets in the world. She has since partnered with high-growth European brands and manufacturers to drive U.S. expansion — leading market entry strategy, retail and distribution build-out, operational infrastructure, and regulatory readiness. Angela has led U.S. market expansion as VP Brand U.S. for MORE Nutrition, backed by CVC Capital Partners, and served as U.S. Country Manager for Landguth Heimtiernahrung GmbH. She brings a sharp, execution-driven perspective to transatlantic growth — bridging the gap between European innovation and U.S. market scale.

Janani Kumar is the CMO of VIA, bringing deep expertise in brand technology, digital growth, and e-commerce infrastructure. A serial founder and product strategist, she has built and scaled multiple Shopify-based ventures across North America, developing end-to-end solutions that bridge marketing, automation, and brand operations. Before launching VIA, Janani founded MyBranz, a product lab that builds scalable software and managed solutions for consumer brands — powering data-driven marketing, AI-assisted campaign automation, and operational efficiency for e-commerce businesses. Her hands-on experience leading product, marketing, and go-to-market execution for diverse DTC brands gives her a unique perspective on what it takes to build sustainable traction in competitive markets. With a background that spans both creative and technical disciplines, Janani focuses on helping European brands entering the U.S. leverage modern growth systems — integrating technology, storytelling, and execution to accelerate expansion with precision. At VIA, she leads digital infrastructure, brand intelligence, and go-to-market strategy — ensuring that every brand entering the U.S. market not only launches successfully, but scales intelligently.
